The Seversky P-35 was designed by Alexander Kartveli in 1936. Manufactured by the Republic Aviation Corporation it had a maximum speed of 281 mph (453 km) and had a range of 1,150 miles (1,850 km). It was 25 ft 2 in (8.17 m) long with a wingspan of 36 ft (10.97 m). The aircraft was armed with 2 machine-guns and could carry 300 lb (136 kg) of bombs.
