Alonzo
Foringer
was born on
1st February 1878 in Pennsylvania. He studied in Pittsburgh
and New York. He became an illustrator
and during the First World War designed the
popular poster for the Red Cross, The
Greatest Mother in the World. Foringer died on 9th
December 1948.
