David
Wilson was born in County Tyrone, Ireland,
on 4th July, 1873. He worked in a bank in Belfast before moving to
London where he became well known as a
newspaper cartoonist. He also regularly exhibited at the Royal
Academy. During the First World War Wilson
produced several anti-German propaganda poster. David Wilson died
in 1935.
