Cohen Weenen Football Cigarette Cards
Cohen Weenen was a small tobacco company based in London. The company produced its first set of cards, Actresses, in 1901. The company issued its first set of football cards in 1907. Entitled Football Club Captains, it included captains in Division 1, Division 2 and the Southern League. These are valued at £13 each card. However, the reprinted set (1998) can be purchased for around £10.
