Adam von Trott
Adam von Trott was born in Germany in 1909. He attended Oxford University before training as a lawyer. An opponent of Adolf Hitler Trott became legation counselor in the German foreign office.
Trott's work involved travelling abroad and while in foreign countries he made contact with German politicians in exile and with the governments of Britain and the United States.
Trott was arrested after the July Plot and was executed at Ploetzwnsee Prison on 15th August, 1944.
