Interpen
The Intercontinental
Penetration Force (INTERPEN) came together around March of 1961. Initially
it was made up from the remnants of Operation 40 and some soldiers
of fortune looking for action. The training was to make ready revolutionary
forces for an invasion of Cuba. Funding was always tight and conditions
were often hard.
The manoeuvres were carried out in South Florida and in particular
on a tiny island ironically named No Name Key. Interpen was run by
Gerry Hemming who some say had ties to the intelligence community.
Rumors also had it that several members of Interpen were involved
with the events in Dealey Plaza on the 22nd of November, 1963.
