Newcastle Railway Station

Newcastle Station was designed by John Dobson and Thomas Prosser. Built in 1848 it was the junction point of four routes in Newcastle: to Sunderland, to Carlisle, to London and to Glasgow. It has a very spacious station with a very large glazed roof.
