Edmund
Verney was born in 1590. He was elected to the House
of Commons for Chipping Wycombe. Verney was critical of Charles
I but on the the outbreak of the Civil
War Verney
joined the Royalist forces. Sir
Edmund Verney was killed at Edgehill
in October,
1642.
