Charter
of Freedom
The king promises that the bearer of this charter shall from this
date be a free person and
that his or her heirs should be forever released from serfdom. That
no longer will this person
have to carry out feudal services. That this person is free to buy
or sell any goods. The king
also grants this person a free pardon for all offences committed during
the rebellion.
